Ingredients

Bottoms: 

  • 7 dkg icing sugar

  • 14 dkg softened butter

  • 21 dkg plain flour

  • 1 egg yolk

Upper parts:

  • 20 dkg ground walnuts

  • 20 dkg icing sugar

  • 2 egg whites

Cream:

  • 10 dkg softened butter

  • 7 dkg icing sugar

  • 2 spoons of cocoa powder

  • 1 spoon of jam (currant jam is the best)

  • a little bit of rum

Preparation

  1. Bottoms:

    Leave the dough in the fridge for approx 1 hour.

    Make small circles 0,5-1 cm high.

    Bake at 150 ⁰C for 7 min. (till it turns to a slightly darker yellow)


  2. Upper Parts

    Mix all of the ingredients and sprinkle a small amount of icing sugar into the form and squeeze the mix in, leave a small hollow for cream at the bottom, and carefully take it out. Leave it to harden overnight. It's a little bit tricky at the beginning because it's sticky, but you will figure out the technique.


  3. Cream: 

    Properly mix the butter and sugar then add the rest of the ingredients.

    Put enough cream into the upper parts and stick the whole thing onto the bottoms, and make sure that it all holds together.
