Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour – 2 cups

  • Active dry yeast – 1 teaspoon

  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon

  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

  • Warm water – ¾ cup

  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt.

  3. Add the yeast mixture and oil to the flour.

  4. Knead into a soft, smooth dough for about 10–15 minutes.

  5. Cover and let it rise for 1.5 hours, until doubled in size.

  6. Punch down the dough and roll it into a round base.

  7. Bake in air fryer at 200c for 17-18 minutes or pre-bake at 200°C (400°F) for 7–10 minutes if desired.

  8. Add sauce and mozzarella cheese and sprinkle some oregano and chili flakes


Tip: At times, when I'm too tired, I use a ready made pizza base
