Ingredients

  • 1 sponge cake

  • raspberry jam

  • 1 tin peaches

  • a little sherry

  • ½ pt. custard

  • ¼ pt. Cream

  • glacé cherries

Preparation

  1. Spread the sponge with jam and put it in a large, clear glass bowl. 


  2. Drain juice from peaches and mix with a little sherry. Pour over the sponge. Arrange the peaches over the sponge. 


  3. Cover with a layer of custard, then top with whipped cream. Decorate with cherries.
