Vanilla Heart Cookies

Ingredients

  • 300 g self-rising flour

  • 120 g sugar

  • 120 g Butter

  • 2 yolks

  • 2 tablespoons of milk

  • vanilla essence

  • chocolate - optional

Preparation

  1. Mix the melted butter and sugar. 


  2. Add yolks, milk, and vanilla essence. Finally, add the flour and leave it to rest in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes. 


  3. Preheat the oven,  roll out and cut the dough (about 4 mm thick), cut out the hearts with a cutter, and bake the cookies for about 5 minutes. 


  4. They should be golden brown at the bottom, but extremely soft on top. As an option, cover half of these with dark chocolate.
