by Leni

In this beginner-friendly lesson you’ll learn:

  • Grammar Recap: A quick review of past simple verb formation, including exceptions like vowel-stem verbs and the special verbs tegema and pidama.

  • Sentence Negation: Learn how to say you don’t know, don’t want, or didn’t do something—both in the present and past tense. Practice negating simple verbs and combining multiple verbs in a sentence.

  • Vocabulary – Food: Master essential food words across categories like fruits, vegetables, drinks, dairy, and meats. Includes everyday items like kartul (potato), kohv (coffee), õun (apple), and kanaliha (chicken).
