Ingredients
All-purpose flour – 2 cups
Active dry yeast – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Warm water – ¾ cup
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Preparation
In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt.
Add the yeast mixture and oil to the flour.
Knead into a soft, smooth dough for about 10–15 minutes.
Cover and let it rise for 1.5 hours, until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and roll it into a round base.
Bake in air fryer at 200c for 17-18 minutes or pre-bake at 200°C (400°F) for 7–10 minutes if desired.
Add sauce and mozzarella cheese and sprinkle some oregano and chili flakes
Tip: At times, when I'm too tired, I use a ready made pizza base
