What Is the Partner Teacher Program?
The Partner Teacher Program is a curated list of educators who:

Have taught regularly in Language Cafe

Hold formal teaching qualifications

Show reliability, strong communication, and a love for language learning
This program gives learners a way to confidently explore paid private lessons, knowing the teacher has already shown dedication within our community.
Who qualifies?
To be considered for the program, a teacher must:

Have hosted at least 5 lessons at Language Cafe

Possess official teaching credentials (such as a degree, certification, or formal training)

Be reliable and communicative — especially about scheduling or cancellations

Remain in touch with us even if they take a break from teaching

Maintain a positive reputation; serious or repeated negative feedback may result in removal
All lessons from our partner teachers are paid lessons!
Language Cafe does not gain any commission or profit from lessons hosted through the program.

About Me
Hi! I’m Tanner — a language lover, dancer, and Japanese tutor with a passion for helping adults speak confidently and naturally. I’ve been studying Japanese for years, including minoring in it at university, and I’ve had the chance to connect with native speakers through travel, exchange, and daily conversation.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to your goals — whether you're into anime, K-pop, travel, or just want to make Japanese a fun part of your life. I love incorporating real-world language, cultural tips, and conversation into every session.
Outside of teaching, you’ll find me dancing to Hip-Hop or K-pop, studying new languages, or hanging out with my fur-baby Yuki (yes, my dog has a Japanese name 🐶❄️).
