Slightly annoyed, you take a look at your notifications. Tamara and Jay, two of the friends you made at LCU, are blowing up your phone.

What is going on?

Connect with different cultures in our world expo event!  

 

Each day, you will discover a small cultural tradition from one of the countries in the expo. Then, if you complete a short and fun activity, you'll earn a stamp for that country.

You are a new student at LC University (LCU) completing their newly established Transactional Linguistics Program under the College of Liberal Arts with a focus on your target language.

 

Discover the mystery of the missing Language Tome as you meet other students, learn more about your target language and its culture, and explore your target language like never before! 

You wake up in a corn maze, all alone. Confused, you try to find your way out, only to realize that a shadowy figure looms among the cornstalks, waiting for your downfall.

 

Reunite with your friends and escape the wrath of the maze by practicing your target language.

The Language Jam is a week-long language learning challenge in which you learn the basics of a new language for the entire week.

 

Choose a language with a random number generator, or put more focus on a language you're already learning. It's all up to you, so join us in challenging tasks for the week!

Each day presents a new challenge, and your goal is to find the missing managers and escape the Language Cafe building.

 

Can you decipher the clues, unlock the doors, and save everyone?

You are a student at Language Cafe University, assigned to a final group project meant to test collaboration and independent research. Paired with a classmate you barely know, you’re given access to an old submarine and asked to focus your work on a strange phenomenon appearing off the coast near town.

As the project unfolds, you work closely with your partner to learn an unfamiliar language, operate the equipment, and understand what’s happening around you, finishing the assignment with new insight and a new friend.

An adventure across the solar system ⭐

Scientist and astronaut from all around the world have gathered to fly out to the edge of the Solar System and conduct their research. However, one of the hardest challenges will still be communication! With such an international team, knowledge of more than just one language is practically unavoidable. Will you be there to help them reach their goals with your studies?

Step into an Alice in Wonderland-like world this New Year’s Eve! Reflect on your past achievements, motivations, and future goals as you navigate daily challenges.

Each day brings a prompt to answer in your target language(s), with difficulty levels to suit your needs.

Then this event is for you! Join our regular Accountability Buddies event to be matched with several others with similar schedules as you and get together for fun study sessions.

The Coffee Grind is a month-long/bi-weekly language learning event that's both fun and competitive.

 

Form squads, complete challenges, and climb up the leaderboard for a chance to win exciting rewards while improving your language skills.
